I love finding little snacks that curb my sweet tooth without breaking the macro bank! I am always around kid snacks, which usually never have great nutritional value (goldfish, pretzels, animal crackers). Unfortunately they will not create a feeling of fullness so you end up eating the whole bag! BUT since I am always around their yummy snacks I can’t resist them 24/7 so I snack on these Teddy Grahams! The macros for 24 of these little bears is: 4.5g fat & 22g carbs. I’d rather have 24 chocolatey bears than 8 little chips!




Sunday Sundae 


My TWO “desserts” for today! I went to a new stop n shop on Friday and I found Edy’s Slow Churned COOKIE DOUGH. It is better than regular cookie dough, the dough chunks are huge and there are tons of them (not like arctic zero where they have 4 tiny cookie dough balls). 1 serving (1/2 cup) of this Edy’s ice cream is : 3.5g of fat, 22g carbs, & 3g protein. My other plated treat is a fruit plate of plums, 1/2 banana, and a few grapes with a side of Cool Whip. One of my clients added Cool Whip to her greek yogurt…Cool Whip makes anything a sweet treat! The macros for 2 tablespoons of Cool Whip is 1.5g fat & 2g carbs.

Today’s macro friendly sweet treat is… EASTER CANDY 😍👏🏻

  • 26 Sweettart jelly beans: 36g of carbs
  • 1 mini Reese’s egg: 5g fat, 9g carbs, 2g protein
  • 3 Egg shaped Peppermint Patties: 3G fat & 30g of carbs
  • 4 mini chocolate Hershey eggs: 6g fat & 12g carbs
  • 1 Cadbury creme egg: 6g fat & 24g carbs

Stick with the mini options of popular candies & jelly beans for very macro-friendly treats today! But stay away from the peanut M&Ms, 40g packs 11g of fat.


Sundae Sunday

I just ordered birthday cake flavored brownies from the company “eat me guilt free”. The macros for one of their brownies are usually 5g fat, 10g carbs, and 20g of protein. They are pretty close to a real brownie, can be a little dry, but when paired with peanut butter and fruit (strawberries/bananas), cool whip, or ice cream they are pretty good! Today I topped my Edy’s slow churned ice cream (3gfat & 20g of carbs) with Cool Whip and the “eat me guilt free” brownie 🙂 Perfect dessert to finish off Sunday and to bring on Monday!


Sunday Sundae 

Here is my weekly Sunday Sundae post on dessert items that won’t break your nutrition bank ! I love having these Oats & Chocolate Fiber One bars after dinner as my dessert 🙂 They are also my favorite pre-workout snack when I have an early morning workout, chocolate will always get me out of bed! Macros: 4g fat, 29g carbs, &2g of protein. The mini chocolate chips with the chocolate drizzle on top cures all sweet tooth!

“Sunday Sundae”


Sunday Sundae! I love dessert and yes we can stay fit and still find the balance with sweets! I am currently 15 weeks out from my competition and the desserts don’t end, they just get more creative 😉 My mother in law is always stopping by and dropping off new finds she comes across and she found two great desserts for me this week! Dannon has just come out with light & fit Greek yogurt whips : 0g of fat, 11g of carbs, and 9g of protein. I usually don’t watch the sugar but it is only 10g and chobani flavored ones are usually at 20+ grams. I have tried the coconut flavored whips and it was amazing! It did have the sweet aftertaste, but it is a good substitute for a sweet treat. Top it off with a few banana slices & coconut flakes! Meringues are very underrated. Have 8 meringue puffs for 0g of protein & fat and about 25g of carbs! Spread them out throughout the day and stay satisfied. Stay tuned next Sunday for new macro friendly sweet treats!
